[li] Heavy Bolter - Unbelievably effective against hordes and capable of laying down withering firepower. The Heavy Bolter is extremely powerful and capable of shredding an enemy to pieces. These weapons are often placed in squads of Tactical Space Marines in order to give better fire support. Rarely is there ever more than two in a squad as it will compromise the groups ability to combat different situations. However, a single Heavy Bolter is sufficient in making an enemy think twice about a direct assault. A Space Marine is able to carry one of these weapons single-handedly whereas it would take two guardsmen to heft the weapon and set up in a firing position.

[/li][li] Lascannon - For anti-tank a lascannon is a Marine’s greatest asset. Firing a concentrated beam of energy a lascannon can cut through the thickest armour. At its cure use it is very much a laser which can be fired by a single Space Marine or a team of Imperial guardsmen. Like other las weapons it carries a clip of ammunition. On a Space Marine this takes the form of a backpack. Similar to other las weapons it is standard issue and available to just about anyone in the armed forces. Due to weight restrictions it may not be carried in conjunction with a bolter. A user would need to use a bolt pistol side arm and carry no other heavy weapons.

[/li][li] Plasma Cannon - Very much the same as a plasma pistol in design. The plasma cannon is even more powerful than its handheld counter part. Able to scorch holes in the thickest battle plating and destroy the greatest of enemies. A Space Marine may carry this weapon alone, with a guardsmen carrying a smaller variant themselves. Like the pistol it has a small chance of overheating and destroying the user.

[/li][li] Missile Launcher - Capable of being fired with either a frag or krak shot. The missile launcher can be carried by a Space Marine along or a team of two Guardsmen. Because it is a heavy weapon it may only be carried with a bolt pistol side-arm or possibly a close combat weapon. Oftentimes Space Marines will have at least on dedicated anti-tank weapon in their squad. A frag round fired out of this weapon is capable of destroying light vehicles and groups of heavy infantry. Its krak round however is super effective against tanks and vehicles.
