Ranged Light Weaponry
- Lasgun - So numerous and in plentiful supply is the lasgun that it’s the standard issue weapon of every one of the millions of foot slogging men of the Imperium. Though not strong enough to break power armour at an effective rate. A lasgun shot can do serious damage to a unarmoured target. It is effective in high numbers or with concentrated firepower. Lasgun ammunition clips can be recharged with solar power. The lasgun is frequently a good indicator of where the Imperial guardsmen in question is from. Often adoring it with foldable stocks, kill markings and occasionally personal mantras. These acts are often frowned upon by the Adeptus Mechanus because they bless each weapon.Single Shot / 1 Dice per Action Roll
No Effect - Laspistol - Typically used by sergeants and some officers. The laspistol in simply a smaller version of a las pistol. It is hardy, light and can be counted on in a jam. Numerous soldiers carry this as an alternative to an autopistol or a combat knife. It can be used in conjunction with another pistol, a close combat weapon or in some cases a chainsword.Single Shot / 1 Dice per Action Roll
No Effect - Autogun - A standard slug thrower. Considered primitive by Imperial standards this weapon is only used in times where a lasgun is ineffective against an opponent or nothing else is available. Some regiments prefer the autogun for is stopping power and traditional feel. But most commanders outfit their soldiers with lasguns instead since the ammunition for an autogun eventually runs thin. No Effect - Autopistol - A cut down version of the autogun. It is a standard slug thrower and very hardy. There are a number of variations of the autopistol. Magnums are a popular choice amongst officers whereas smaller pistols are typical of infantrymen sidearms. Like the laspistol, the autopistol reloads in clips and has roughly eight to twenty shots, depending on the design.Single Shot / 1 Dice per Action Roll
No Effect - Shotgun - A typical trench gun that is great at clearing enclosed spaces. For what it lacks in distance it makes up for in raw power. Able to place a serious dent in most armour the shotgun is a storm troopers best friend. This weapon is usually carried by those who are experienced in bunker busting and storming enemy strongholds. -1 to Shooting Action Rolls - Sniper Rifle - Another weapon used exclusively by scouts. The pinnacle of ranged combat the sniper rifle can fire over great distances accurately. In the hand of a skilled marksmen a sniper rifle can save another man’s life from hundreds of yards away. Usable by both Space Marine and Imperial guardsmen alike the sniper rifle is a widely dispersed weapon. Every company has at least a squad dedicated to the duty of supporting squads with covering fire. Many a Marine and Guardsmen alike have earned a wide range of awards simply for one well placed shot. They are in wide use across the Imperium and are common wargear with scouts.Single Shot / 1 Dice per Action Roll

-2 to Shooting Action Rolls - Bolt Pistol - Much like an autopistol, the bolt pistol is a slug thrower. Albeit much stronger and prefered by members of the Commisariat. Unlike the Space Marine version this weapon has been cut down significantly so that it may be fired from one hand. Clips typically come in sickle form but this is never a constant.Single Shot / 1 Dice per Action Roll
